Doctor Andersson is the Chairman of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago. He completed a fellowship in orthopaedic surgery at The London Hospital in London, England, residencies in orthopaedic surgery at Boras and Sahlgren hospitals in Sweden, and residencies in general surgery at Boras and Molndal hospitals in Sweden. Dr. Andersson received his Ph.D. in Orthopaedic Surgery in 1974 (Grade Excellent) from the University of Goteborg, and graduated from the University of Zurich in 1962.
