Doctor Sherman has been a spine surgeon in Edina, Minnesota since 1990 and in private practice since 1998. He has also been a Medical Director with Spine-Tech, Inc. since 1997. Doctor Sherman earned a Doctor of Medicine from the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, and a BA, magna cum laude, from St. Olaf College in Minnesota.
