Dr. Robert Valentz received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University in 1995. He then went on to complete an internship in General Surgery, at Meridia Huron, and his residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Virginia. He continued his training with a fellowship in Pain Medicine, at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
Dr. Valentz arrived in Alaska in August, 2000 and joined Alaska Spine Institute in March, 2004. He is currently the Director of Anesthesiology at Alaska Spine Institute's Surgery Center. His expertise includes discography and spinal cord stimulation.
The Alaska Spine Institute (ASI) is the only facility in the state of Alaska with a primary focus on diagnosis and treatment of spinal care, pain management, and neuromuscular rehabilitation, all integrated under one roof. Our facility includes a doctor's office, diagnostic facility including comprehensive imaging services, surgery center, and physical therapy and rehabilitation treatment center. ASI has the ability to provide fast, comprehensive, and top-of-the-line medical care to the community of Anchorage and the state of Alaska.
