Chiropractic Practice Description

I am an evidence-based chiropractor. Using my skill sets I strive to restore function and help patients achieve their goals for a healthy, active life. I also believe in the importance of on-going maintenance and preventative care but feel this should be a patient choice and not a requirement for receiving the benefits my expertise.

As a competitive athlete and CCSP, I have expertise in treating sports injuries and performing advanced injury rehab. I am studying functional movement screening and interested in incorporating this useful tool into my assessment schemata. Having recently suffered a disc herniation I embraced all the information and advice I could on the best treatments for low back conditions and feel it is now a special area of my expertise. As a former auto crash victim and current student of Dr. Croft’s Spine Research Institute I am making the treatment of whiplash and auto accident related injuries yet another area of expertise.

The procedures I employ on a daily basis are: diversified spinal manipulation, myofascial release (MFR) and muscle energy techniques, E-stim and US, Dry Needling, Cox Flexion/Distraction, Graston Technique (GSTM), Kinesiology taping (KT) and exercise rehab. Thanks to the tutelage and inspiration of Drs. Malik Slosberg and Craig Liebenson I am adding a separate, open exercise therapy room to my clinic. In the future I would like to add Cold Laser therapy to my gamut of modalities.
