Wenlin Fan, MD, Philadelphia, PA, 19107

Dr. Wenlin Fan received his BS in Biophysics from Fudan University, Shanghai, China, his MS in Biochemistry from the University of North Texas, and his MD degree from the University of Texas, San Antonio Medical School in 1998. Dr. Fan then completed his internship & residency training in Diagnostic Radiology from Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center in Dearborn, Michigan from 1998-2003. During his residency, Dr. Fan was awarded an MBA full scholarship to the University of Michigan-Dearborn, College of Business and graduated with high distinctions and an MBA degree in 2002. He received Vascular and Interventional Radiology fellowship training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in 2003-2004.

Dr. Wenlin Fan has performed thousands of Interventional Radiology procedures, including Vertebroplasty procedures. He is experienced in treating acute and sub-acute vertebral compression fractures. Since 2004, Dr. Fan has treated over 100 levels of vertebral compression fractures with great success. He is also certified to perform Kyphoplasty procedures. Dr. Fan is very pleased to have the opportunity to be a part of the team of spine experts associated with the University Spine Institute.
