Dr. Harold F. Cable, MD, Anchorage, AK, 99508
Dr. Harold Cable joined The Alaska Spine Institute (ASI) recently in 2009. He has made quite an impact with his expertise in diagnostic and Interventional Radiology. Dr. Harold Cable's expertise also lies in invasive procedures, including CT directed percutaneous biopsies, using innovative approaches with large-bored needles.
Dr. Cable started his Pre-Medical career at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill's School of Medicine in 1975. His hard work resulted in his induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha, National Honor Society in Medicine. From UNC, Chapel Hill, Dr. Cable completed his Internship and Residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. He was Fellowship Trained from 1979-1980 at North Carolina Memorial Hospital, Chapel Hill and a Fellow in Diagnostic Imaging, with an emphasis on CT scanning, Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound. His post graduate training came as the Chief of CT & Ultrasound at Brooke Army Medical Center.
The Alaska Spine Institute (ASI) is the only facility in the state of Alaska with a primary focus on diagnosis and treatment of spinal care, pain management, and neuromuscular rehabilitation, all integrated under one roof. Our facility includes a doctor's office, diagnostic facility including comprehensive imaging services, surgery center, and physical therapy and rehabilitation treatment center. ASI has the ability to provide fast, comprehensive, and top-of-the-line medical care to the community of Anchorage and the state of Alaska.
