    Edie E. Zusman, M.D., FACS, is an adult neurosurgeon and medical director of neurosurgery at Sutter Medical Group . Dr. Zusman specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of brain tumors, epilepsy, aneurysms, vascular malformations and disorders of the spine. She is specialty trained in Gamma Knife radiosurgery, brain mapping, endoscopy, and intra-operative computer guided neuronavigation tools.

    Dr. Zusman completed her medical training in the Honors Program at Northwestern University Medical School in 1987. After a general surgery internship, neurological surgery residency and chief residency at UC Davis, Dr. Zusman received fellowships in Epilepsy, Brain Tumor Surgery and Molecular Medicine Research at UC San Francisco.

    She has also worked with the Bronte Epilepsy Research Foundation, CURE, UC Davis, the Bob Holm Brain Tumor Research Fund, and the NSF Center for Biophotonics, specializing in brain tumors and epilepsy research. In 2008, Dr. Zusman was nominated by physicians throughout the Greater Sacramento Region as one of Sacramento Magazine's Top Docs for Neurosurgery.
