Dr. Kevin A. Vaught, MD, Cape Girardeau, MO, 63701

At the Brain & NeuroSpine Clinic of Missouri, our goal is to provide neurosurgical expertise to anyone in need and to provide it with the degree of concern and compassion that we would hope to have for members of our own family. The Brain & NeuroSpine Clinic of Missouri is a practice of micro-neurosurgery specializing in spinal surgery, brain surgery, stereotactic radiosurgery, peripheral nerve surgery, carotid vascular surgery and neuro trauma.

Dr. Vaught is a board certified neurosurgeon who joined the Brain & NeuroSpine Clinic upon his arrival in Cape Girardeau, Missouri in 2003. Dr. Vaught earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Houston in 1989. He received his medical degree in 1993 from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Vaught completed his general surgery internship at the University of Tennessee in 1994 and his neurosurgical residency at the University of Tennessee, Semmes-Murphy Clinic in 1999, where he was chief resident. In October of 2006, Dr. Vaught became a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Vaught is a noted public speaker who has given presentations on numerous neurological topics.
