What is this?
Dr. Bobby Tay, MD, San Francisco, CA, 94143
Dr. Bobby KB Tay is based at the UCSF Medical Center on Parnassus Avenue. His clinical focus is the treatment of cervical spine disorders and minimally invasive spinal surgery. He has extensive experience in minimally invasive cervical surgery, cervical disc herniations, and spinal stenosis, cervical disc replacement, and complex cervical reconstruction for both decompression of the spinal cord and realignment of the spinal column.
Dr. Tay was the principal investigator of the multicenter clinical trial on the Prodisc-c cervical disc replacement and also has one of the largest clinical experiences with endoscopic cervical decompression, both of which are used to potentially minimize or eliminate the need for spinal fusion. He enjoys both the conservative and operative management of cervical disorders and works with the best physiatrists and physical therapists in the region. In addition to cervical disorders, Dr. Tay also treats both degenerative disorders of the lumbar spine, spinal deformity, and spinal trauma.
Dr. Tay is an orthopedic surgeon with UCSF Spine Center.
