Meet Dr. George W. Wharton

Dr. Wharton is fellowship trained in the diagnosis, management and surgical treatment of patients with diseases and injuries of the spine. Dr. Wharton also consults on traumatic spinal injuries, paraplegia and tetraplegia. As a strong believer in patient education, Dr. Wharton has been recognized nationally and internationally for his contributions to helping those with severe spinal conditions to understand the proper mamagement of their condition. Dr. Wharton also offers expertise in the evaluation of gait disorders due to nerve injuries and stroke and provides consultation on proper prescription and training of those patients who need orthotic devices (braces).
