Noel Goldthwaite, MD, San Francisco, CA, 94109

Dr. Goldthwaite is a board certified orthopedic spine surgeon who has been in practice for more than 20 years. He is the chief of orthopedic surgery at the SpineCare Medical Group, a position he has held since 1988.

In addition to lecturing nationally, Dr. Goldthwaite has authored numerous research studies on spinal surgical procedures, the treatment of neck pain, the Lumbar spine, pre- and post-operative evaluations of patient pain and pain management, and the impact of surgical decisions on patients. He also has written articles for Spine, Surgical Rounds for Orthopedics, International Society for the Study of the Lumbar Spine and other medical journals. He is a member of the San Francisco Medical Society, and received his medical degree from UC Davis.
