Dr. Hord has over 24 years of experience in providing the highest quality care and service to the community. He practices a comprehensive approach to managing pain, which includes both interventional and medical techniques. Dr. Hord utilizes his experience in treating patients, as well as his internationally recognized abilities in teaching and research, in order to provide quality medical care for patients with pain.

Dr. Hord founded our Buckhead, Atlanta office in order to bring his years of experience to a practice where he can provide the highest quality of care for patients suffering from pain. Dr. Hord led the way in establishing a nationally recognized fellowship-training program in Pain Management and an active research program.

Dr. Hord’s experience in pain management began when pain clinics and training programs were rare. He chose to go through an additional year of training at the University of Cincinnati Pain Control Center. Dr. Hord is able to offer patients a unique approach to their pain and develop a treatment plan that targets their spine-related conditions.
