Not only do I focus on the pain and relieving it, my true goal is to improve people’s function. As a physiatrist with specialized training in pain and sports medicine, I am trained to examine patients thoroughly to arrive at a diagnosis. I then focus on conservative therapies to address the pain problem or sports injury. Sometimes this requires therapy, medications, exercise or injections. Since we work closely with surgeons, if your problem needs surgical care, then we have excellent folks to send you to within our same system.
