May 2010 — Mid Atlantic Spine and Pain Physicians is helping to coordinate the Second Annual Pain Medicine Symposium with Temple University Hospital. Hosted by Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Department at Temple and supported by an educational grant from St. Jude Medical, the event will be held 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday, May 7, 2010. Location to be announced. This one-day symposium is specifically designed for the Pain Medicine Physician who encounters patients suffering from on-going neck pain. This symposium will provide the opportunity to learn more about the appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for chronic neck pain.
October 2009 — A group of doctors from Mid Atlantic Spine and Pain Physicians will collectively present “Advances in Spinal Cord and Peripheral Nerve Stimulation”, a Spine/Spinal Cord Injury Educational Track, during the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R) 70th Annual Assemble and Technical Exhibition, October 22-25 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas.

Mid Atlantic Spine and Pain Physicians (MASPP) is the most comprehensive pain practice in the U.S. treating a full spectrum of spine and pain related disorders while delivering world-class, patient-focused care. The staff physicians author countless medical articles and book chapters on treating pain and present findings in lectures nationwide. The practice publishes “The Pain Journal”, posts a chronic pain blog, contributes regularly to a health advice newspaper column, hosts a morning radio program “Pain Talk” in Delaware, and provides at annual Pain Medicine Symposiums at nationally and internationally-recognized hospital systems. MASPP offers the only private-practice-based, pain medicine fellowship program (ACGME-accredited) in the U.S. in conjunction with Temple University Hospital.
