Autologous cell therapy injections

Has anyone heard of or had autologous cell therapy injections. I have a co-worker with back problems ( bulging discs)and just went down to Miami to have this done. Insurance does not cover this and it is pretty expensive to have it done.

If anyone has any information on this, I would definately want to hear about it.

Thanks,

Jason

Hi Jason, this would scare me greatly! Mostly the insurance not covering it. If it works why would insurance not cover a portion of it. In the long run it would be cheaper than all the future surgeries and other treatments (if it works). And why the need to go to Florida? If it is something which evwn remotely had a 'profit' to it then there would be doctors in all 50 States promoting it.

Just my opinion.

It does sound intruging though!

good luck..........Paul
