I am coming along

Hi Marianne,

Its a little of six weeks now and I am just beginning to use a little of my left arm. I am in physical therapy 2 x a week, seeing my Deep Tissue person ( who really is doing the most) and have a bunch of exercises I need to do at home.

The hardest thing really has been getting use to not having both arms. It has been a eye awakening to realize how many things you need both hands for.

In about 2 weeks, I can start to give up the sling, which I cant wait for.

Next step is getting ready for the surgery on the other shoulder!

How have you been doing?

Hi Ron,

How frustrating having the use of only one arm! Good to hear that soon you will no longer have that sling. Its a long recovery, but will be worth it I'm sure. Best wishes on the other shoulder.

I'm getting ready to visit with Liz in London for 9 days! Leaving on Wednesday. I had a 3rd ESI into the L5 area last week. I've got more stenosis now at L4 due to bony overgrowth from the fusion. Seeing my NS in June for possibly more surgery.

Thank you again for the links to articles on arthritis.

Marianne
