Another question....

When you are taken into surgery are you lying on back or
stomach before anesthesia? Thanks.

Hi,

When you are wheeled into the operating room, you are on your back. Anesthesia will be initiated while you are on your back so that they can place a tube in your throat (intubate) to help you breathe. After you are out, they will reposition you if needed.

Have a good day,

Marianne
