Hey folks,
I mentioned this in my other thread but thought it worth it's own topic.
I just got home from the hospital Monday and had been sooo disappointed that I had to spend all my time in the bed because my recliner in the living room, (and all the furniture for that matter), were just too low to get out of without hurting myself. Anway, my wonderful father who happens to be pretty good with wood built a 2" x 6" frame for my recliner to sit on. It brings it up to my bottom level where I hardly have to bend at all to sit in it. It's incredible what a simple little thing like that will do to increase my quality of life over the next month or two.
IF YOU HAVE SURGERY COMING UP AND KNOW ANYONE THAT CAN HELP WITH A LITTLE PLATFORM FOR YOUR FAVORITE RECLINER TO SIT ON SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO BEND.... PLEASE! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO FOR IT!!! iT'S THE BEST!!! JUST MAKE SURE IT'S PLENTY STABLE AND SAFE. i WOULD HATE TO SEE ANYONE FALL OUT OF SOMETHING LIKE THIS.
Take care and God bless you all,
Bob
