Kept waiting for someone to start this thread. We need our own thread to discuss things that are important for us girls. Like shoes!!!! I really miss cool shoes. Since having a lower spinal fusion I have not been able to wear anything totally cool. I am pain free if I wear my Nikki's with inserts but who can wear those ugly shoes all the time. Sometimes I will "take the hit" just to look good for a few hours, but I know that my legs and hips will give me hell for it. Oh, the things we do to still try to look hip.

I know what you mean!!!! It has been 8 years since I have worn any shoes with a heal over about an inch. It tears up my lumbar something fierce if I do. I really miss them to. I am only 5 ft (plus a half inch), so something that is more than 1inch for a heal is my cup of tea. I am not saying all of the time, but there are times, I would love to pull out some of the heals that I have yet to part with and wear them. After 8 years, they should be gone, but just can't give them up yet.

That and my feet are so wide that a lot of shoes do not fit well. Which sucks 'cuz... I would be a shoe whore!

I would kill to put on a pair of my beautiful heels right about now! I bought a super cut but not so practical pair in December right after I got married but they didn't agree with my back so they sit...waiting......someday.....

I don't have a shoe issue. Kind of a flip flop, flat's woman and heels are just wrong and rather cruel. Just don't get that one.I do know Miki is with me on this one.
Now in regards to the monkey, I always tell my son to keep the car in the garage, or the snake in the cage. He is 15 so trying to teach responsibility of donations and he does not want to be baby daddy while he is a baby.

Oh I just hate wearing sensible shoes. This stupid back thing and now I am wearing New Balance 926. I should be wearing some stylin NB 992's instead... No more cowboy boots. No more heals. What is a guy to do...

Pat, Nope. Corbeau FX1 Pro fixed back racing bucket seats. Most of the time. Just put the stock black leather seats back in. Now it feels all cushy on my boney tushy...

switching those seats out, you must not have any spine issues. My lower back
hurts just thinking about wrestling those seats in and out, especially the stockers. No skimping on your part, FX-1's 8) Actually I hate my stock leather
seats, no lateral support at all.

I don't have a Mustang...yet...but when I do the black leather seats are a must. Got them in the car I have now and they're great! Sometimes a bit slippery when getting out of the car
and don't park facing the hot summer sun.....especially when wearing shorts or a skirt. Yeoch!
cars???....I've got a red Concorde Limited with all the bells and whistles, chrome rims, tinted windows, 3.5 H/O (250hp). At the time we bought it we were looking for somthing with hp and capable of towing the boat. 2,000 lb tow capacity versus the Gran Prix GT of only 1000 lbs.
