Hip and thigh pain.EMG showed no nerve damage now they say it could be the bands around the bone area.It feels like when I take a step it tightens up and pain shoots through my hip and thigh.The EMG doc made notes about this for my otho doc.I hope he can come up with a plan.I have fell due to that part of leg giving way.Aynone else had any trouble like this?I did have a fusion on L4 and L5 back in 2007.I have four screws two pins and replaced disc.I also had stenosis.

Now a days Hip and thigh pains are common problem.Many people suffering from this type of problems.I must suggest here that, people those are suffering from this type of problem at least they should go for a hot cold therapy. I think this one is better for them.

I have L4-L5 issues and I have numbness tingling and tightness to around the outside of my leg below the knee and outside of my foot numb and tingling and it all happened the same time as my back injury but the last EMG I had she said it wasn't coming from my back oh boy I don't know what's going on!
I hope your Dr. can give a good treatment plan and you get some answers. Charry
Any answers I have is not medical advice only a Doctor can help you with that. Just sharing my personal experience as a fellow Spine Health member only. DDD of lumbar spine with sciatica to left hip,leg and foot. L4-L5 posterior disc bulge with prominent facets, L5-S1 prominent facets with a posterior osteocartilaginous bar. Mild bilateral foraminal narrowing Neck-reverse Lordosis of c-spine C6-C7 with impingement, numb hand and sore outer elbow. Keep the faith.
