I have sacroiliitis...chronic inflammation of the SI joints. I enjoy exercising...especially the elliptical and walking. However, whenever I try any of these, my back is super sore the next day (if I'm lucky) or I'm in complete flare up mode with shooting pain down my leg and I cannot put weight on it or even move it without the pain.
Anyone find a way to add exercise with this condition? My dr keeps saying how important it is to exercise and I would love to, but it seems to do more harm than good.
PS - I hate swimming and it's not practical as I work full time and have kids, so need something in my basement I can use for 30 minutes after the kids go to bed.
