Major Multi Level (lengthy) surgery + previous compartment surgery

Hi, I have a question about a preexisting condition and the risk it might present to me in my next major surgery.

Does anyone know if having had compartment syndrome and a fasciotomy 1 year ago will elevate my risk of having compartment syndrome again in my next surgery?

Also

Does anyone know what I could do to make sure nothing happens to this weak lib during surgery? Beyond extra padding please!
