I underwent a XLIF (lateral interbody fusion) combined with a posterior approach 2 levels fusion on 12/13/2010.
This is my third back surgery in 5 years. I am now one month post op and my back is feeling fairly good. However, the lateral approach incision was really painful for at least one month and I have nerve related issues into my left leg and thigh (numbness, tingling). I still cannot sit for over 30 minutes. Has anyone had a combined procedure like this.?
Any suggestions or answers welcomed.
