Odd osteoporosis finding

The strangest thing...I have > 40% bone mineral density loss in my thoracic spine, but register within normal range in the 'usual' locations: hip/low back. I am curious if anyone else has had such experience?

WALKING IS VERY GOOD FOR BONE DENSITY

I recently started walking each day an hour and my back pain has subsided. I think the walking keeps me flexible and as I do wear the nyknyc weighted walking vest - i think my spine is getting stronger
I know it must be as before the walking exercise I could not sit at my desk for longer than an hour tops . After an hour I would get bad pain and have to go lay down . But now after walking with my weight vest for just a few weeks now , I can sit at my computer for several hrs at a time with absolutely no pain! Try walking with vest.
