I am looking for remedies for my Mom; 65 yr old woman, diagnosed with Moderate to severe Osteopersosis. Recently been to the ER for severe Back pain and all they do is Drug you up, tell you to see your regular doctor and send you on your way. We have done MRI, x ray's that shows that she has more thatn 1 fracture in the L, T region of her spine. Our most recent visit with an Orthoipedic, recomends Kyphoplasty to help relieve the pain...claims 90% of people see a huge improvement; however, of course no guarantee. as for the Osteopersosis, she has taken the Fosamax and Actonel, did not help her to much...she is now being told to go for the stronger med's. Forteo, Reclast; is there, anyone out there that has taken this stuff and does it work. Ha anyone had Kyphoplasty, has it helped. Mom is really scared and Dad is really worried, they are thinking the worst. Please help.
