c3,c4,c5,c6, c8 t 1 fusion, spinal stenosis

I have had fusions at c5-6 (1983), c3-4 (1991), and again in 2006 (c8-t 1). I was told I had spinal stenosis. The last surgery in 2006 left me somewhat dragging my left leg on occasion, and my right hand is atrophied.
My question is, has surgical techniques and successful results advanced to where I should consult with another neurosurgeon locally in Shreveport-Bossier City, LA area?
Respond to if you prefer.

You are up north but if you are up for the trip I can personally vouch for Dr Erich Richter of culicchia neurological. He is a great Neurosurgeon and the group ha immense knowledge in the real of spine issues. This group is part of the LAU healthcare network and located in the New Orleans area at West Jefferson Medical center

Wow I just noticed the thousand typos in that post. I suppose Iphone plus narcotics plus only a few days post op equals typos from hell. Culicchia neurological is part of the LSU healthcare network (i typed LAU). They are listed as part of the top 10% in the nation for 2012 for Neurosurgery.
