Diffuse disc bulge at L4-L5 & L5-S1 Levels

Hi,

I am 26 years Old & i got Spinal bone displacement problem due to weight lifting on feb 1 2013, Now it became serious & my MRI report says.

Report of lumbo Sacral Spine
1.Diffuse disc bulge at L4-L5 & L5-S1 Levels causing thecal & bilateral forminal nerve roots compression.
2.Disc Dessication at the upper two levels.
3.Mild facet Joint arthropathy at L4-L5 level contributing forminal narrowing.

My doc says to take complete bed rest with some medicine for nerve which i am following, i wanted to know how serious this problem is and how many days it can take to recover me from this injury.
