3 herniated disks
I went to see my surgeon last Tuesday and he took 1 look at my MRI and said no way woukd he touch me, there was too much damage. I dont understand. He said it was because of 3 herniations

I hope you decided to get another opinion from a different NS? It is so tough on someone emotionally when their doctor tells them what your doctor told you. I have read a number of posts where members were told this and they found another doctor who did perform surgery and they got good results!
How is your pain today and other symptoms? I have a small synovial cyst but ther doctor does not want to touch it which i find odd. But it does not hurt (at least I don't think any of my pain is from that) so I'm OK with the NS decision.

Cervical stenosis and myelopathy (most symptoms permanant), DDD, OA, 14 surgeries to date (including 3 level cervical laminectomy, bilateral knee replacements, A-C joint resection in left shoulder), 13 MRI's, numerous lumbar and cervical ESI's, upcoming scheduled surgeries (resection A-C joint in right shoulder and removal of 8.2 mm synovial cyst located in left facet joint of L4-L5 with a laminectomy and partial disc removal.
