second surgery, still hurting year later

Whew! Have had two back surgerys, lamenectomy, cleaning up spurs, and I am in so much pain last three days, feels like it catches when i move my back, two days could not even step on my right foot, husband had to help me walk. I am getting discouraged, Dr. put me on pain meds and muscle relaxers, then I have to go to neuro for another opinion. Scared to have yet another surgery, they said last year I needed a fusion. L4/5 L3/4.

Sounds like you are doing the right thing. Wait and see what the neuro has to say and go from there.

im right there with ya. i

im right there with ya. Worried

i had surgery last november. did all the PT
prescribed. then in July, rolled over in bed,
and felt a pop. woke up in major pain.
i was also told that i would need fusion eventually...but the doc went conservative and only removed disc material and did a lami.
now, i have 3 disks protruding into my spine and i can barely move.
i have an appt in one month and hope to find some relief.

just letting you know, youre not alone. Kiss
