Well i have just finished my first week back at work.

I only did 3 mornings but it does start to feel like noraml life. It wasnt without a few hiccups and it was tough at times but it is the first work i have done in 8 weeks.
The company i work for has got me a new chair and made sure my desk set up is the best it can be. Worse part was getting access to the disabled loo. It might have been helpful if they had shown me where the button was to unlock the electronic lock on the door from the inside! couldnt work it out and had to use the emergency cord. Boy can those security guards run when they have to :)) =)) :))

I have another week of 3 mornings then i build it up over 5-6 weeks back to full time

  • Way to go! Glad that you were able to make it back to work and to survive it. Once you are able to get into the swing of things and people quit asking you "how are you feeling" of "how's your back", then you will know that you have "arrived"!

I love the story about the security guards. I have always wondered when I have used bathrooms with emergency pulls, just exactly who and how fast they'd respond. Glad you tested that for us!
