pain in the a**

AnonymousUserAAnonymousUser Posts: 49,731
So, how do I relieve this literal pain in my butt?

My nerve is so angry, that the slightest touch (pulling up my pants, for instance) is excruciating.

The leg pain zings and jings and is miserable, but it's the pain in my behind that is throwing me over the edge. I can't tame it for the life of me.

Any tips?

Many thanks in advance...

  • Can you do any kind of stretching at all? Have you been cleared by a doc or PT to do so? The piriformis stretches are generally great for that and real low back pain.

    Also have you tried ice?

  • hi....i'm living with ice it seems. without my ice, it's so much worse, but unfortunately, it's not near normal even with the ice.

my chiro has said stretching would be good, but hasn't been specific out how or what to stretch.

    i'm so depressed.

is this going to last the rest of my life?

    i'm still young!
  • your doc suggested any kind of nerve pain med like Neurontin or Lyrica? I take Neurontin and it has helped a great deal. But I had to suggest it to the doc after i heard about it on this site. go figure. Hope you find some relief.
