  • I get my medical records by going to the medical records office ware I had been seen. I sign a release of information paper. The medical records personal will then get all the information I have asked for and copy it all. Then they send it to me in the mail or I can go and get it when they have it ready.
  • :) you shouldn't have to see the doctor. it is your legal right to have your medical records, atleast in my state. it should not be a problem. the front desk should take care of it for you. people ask for medical records for a variety of reasons but i would still do it before i fired him. either way the records should still be accessible. good luck and let us know how it goes. Jenny :)
