Pain and stopping it

I have fired my pm and i have moved to new area so i dont have a pcp yet.My back has been hurting for several days now and i dont know what to do.I am waiting for hospital where my pm worked out of to release my med records,i just have motrin,icepack,tens unit thats it and i dont know what else i can do,my pain level is about a 9 out of 10.I am very limited on funds and all i have is medicare.

  • Do you have an Urgent Care Center in the area? I know that the ones in the town where I live are allowed to give Oxycontin, but only 10 tablets at a time. This certainly could help you out in the meantime! Take your old prescription bottle with you and try the closest one! Also, in the meantime switch from Motrin to Aleve, it helps back & joint pain much better. Get help! And I hope you feel better soon!
