because the pain just comes and goes kidda quick like my leg pain..and sometimes stays for hours...any idea of what could have happened? will an mri show anything you think? im on neurotin also. its getting to the point where school is wearing me OUT! and ive only been there for a week...help please..
(i posted this in another forum too because im desperate and really dont know whats wrong..kidda scared..i dont wanna like randomly loose my bladder like a tethered cord causes you to do..but the chance of a retethering was so small..)

  • hey there,
welcome and big hugs sent your way. I am so sorry to hear that you have to deal with this at such an early age but sometimes it just happens. definitely check with your doc if your symptoms have changed just to be sure and see if there is anything else med wise that you can do. I understand about the school thing. Although i am 31 i am having to return to college for a second career due to injury and halting of first one. the way i deal with it is i sit in the back or sides of the room so that i can stand and move my leg as i need to every 20-30 minutes. i have a talk with my teacher at the beginning of the semester to explain the problem and they don't have a problem with it. just don't interrupt class just do what you have to do. It should be the same for you. have your parents help you talk to your teachers Together. the adults will appreciate your maturity to deal with the situation as needed. You are covered by the disability act although your school may ask for a docs verification on this. no biggie. If you need padding on the seat try bringing a padded coat or jacket you can put under or behind you so that you have some cushion. bringing a pillow may help but its not as discrete .( I remember high school) feel free to message me anytime if you have questions. I sometimes lose these threads so please be patient if i dont answer. just pm me. good luck and make sure to keep communication open with your parents and your teachers always to let them know what is going on and what you are doing on your part to make things work. I wish you well. take care.
    sincerely,
    Chelle
