I've tried all kinds of treatments for my neuropathy with no success. I now have a doctor who wants to perform Prolotheropy with injections into the lower spine where degeneration exsists. He seems to think if he can rebuild this area, it will relieve my feet problems. I never was in favor of spinal injectrions, with all the things that can go wrong, and I haven't yet talked to anyone who has had success with this procedure. I have an appointment in a couple of days to give hime my decision. I'm just affraid this will cause more problems. Can anyone enlighten me?

  • I am sorry but I know nothing about the treatment you are speaking of but I too have neuropathy in both my feet and legs. The pain stops just below my knees.

The only thing that has ever helped my pain some is narcotics. Doctors hesitate to treat a person with strong narcotics so I suffered brutal pain for several years.

I now have a pain pump implant and am actually free of almost all my pain except for the weather related flare ups.I do take Oxycodone for the BT pain but I do not need them every day. Before I got to this point I had to jump through all the hoops.

I am sorry I can't be more help to you. Best of luck to you. I do understand your pain.

    Cheers :H
