Hi,

I hurt my lower back oct of 2007..until now still having a lot of pain goes down to my left leg.. i had couple of mri's, ct scan with myelogram and EMG/NCV where i just had my 2nd test of emg/ncv recently. before the result was moderate s1 radiculopathy now its severe s1 radiculopathy.. and i have had tried all the conservative treatment in fact i just had my 4th esi today.. but my question is i had my latest mri last june 20 it come out bulging disc in l4 and minimal height lose and some hypertropic changes but it didnt show anything in my s1... that was making complicated to my doctor. this mri was taken before my 2nd emg/ncv..

can someone help me what should i do.. what kind of test do i need to ask my doctor to see the root of my pain..

    i have seen a neuro and he said that their is nothing to operate on.. iam still seeing this OS spine surgeon had referred me to pain specialist for the pain but it wont give me a long term relief.. and i havent tried that discogram..

    my back hurts more when i stand and walk for z while then if i will be in my feet for a long time before i will be able to sit my butt in the chair it hurts like crazy and sometimes it will make me in tears because of the pain..by the time i am able to sit for few mins then stand up the pain lessen than i was standing/walking for a while.. the pain is more in my both dimple part of my lower back..
