Does anyone know what a better drug would be for pain rather than ultram? I take max dosage and it just doesnt do a whole lot. The benefits definitely dont outweigh the side effects. Help would be grateful.

  • first thing I would like to ask is if you are looking for narcotic or non-narcotic meds?
  • Jo,
No one here is medically trained to be able to suggest a new pain medication for you to try. :| That should only come from your physician. :)
He or she knows your medical history, your previous reactions or interactions with other meds, what other meds you are currently on.
Have you discussed with your doctor that you are taking the maximum dosage of ultram a day and it is not helping? Does he or she know that you are taking that much of it? How long have you been on it?
Anyway, if it not working for you, I would strongly suggest that you contact your PM or GP, whichever prescribes your meds and discuss it with them.
    Sandi :)
