My Acdf is scheduled for October 2nd.. Less than a week away now.. I have decided to go ahead and do it since it's probably the only chance I have to get rid of this pain..I have my pre-op Monday morning so I'll find out then what time my surgery is. I must say I am most looking forward to having 2-3 weeks off of work-paid!! My boss isn't too thrilled but whatever. right?

Anyway..wish me luck!

  • Hi Chelle and welcome to the board.
What level are you having done?
I hope all goes well for you and remember to take a list of questions with you to the pre-op. Dont expect to be doing much during your time off work as you will need to be recovering so plan ahead if you can.
Ask about how long your hospital stay will be, recovery time etc.

    Blessings Sara O:)
  • Welcome

Have you posted in the Upcoming Oct/Nov surgery thread? You'll find others there - me included - who are about to do the same.

Also, depending on exactly what you're having done, it may be more than a few weeks off work. I've told them I plan to be back in Jan 2009. If I get back before it's a bonus, although I can log in from home and do a bit of work that way
