muku View More Posts Well Now that I have been 5 weeks out and still light headed I am learning a bit more. Yesterday I got the news that I have a degenerated vertebrae in my neck (C7) and that after a chiro adjustment it is impinging on the nerve. SO next week I will get an MRI and hopefully some therapy.

The reason why I am bringing this up is that since the PE I often wake up with numb fingers. I did have a CT scan of my head and it was negative but it felt sore. SO apparently my head hit the ground during the PE. Which further injured my already degenerated disk. The chiro just exposed it.

I'm determined to persevere through these conditions. Ironically, with all that I have been through I have less stress than before. Just trying remind myself that being hurt is like being on hold and a year from now I will be doing much more and better!

ANy good therapies?

  • Nice to hear your optimism that things are going to get better. Once your Doctor gets the MRI results they will have a better idea as to how to treat your condition. There is message therapy that could help, as well as acupuncture, heat therapy, aroma therapy just to name a few. Also once the results of the mri are in may try a EPI or nerve block but that is speculation depending on the results of the mri. Keep us posted as your results come in.
