LEG PAIN

Hello,
You all may remember me from late July and August postings. I was supposed to have fusion and had some other things wrong in lower back but I got scared of the surgery so I just decided to live with it and my dr said I might not be much better. My back pain has not been too bad until I bend or do something stupid. Last night my leg started hurting all way to toes. I am wondering if something else has happened b/c i have not had this before. Would appreciate if anyone knows anything about what this could be.

  • Sorry - no real help from me, but my leg has had a 'dead leg' feeling for a few days now. Not so bad if I'm standing (just the normal pain then) but when I try and rest my legt throbs. I've had it raised, lowered, crossed = you name it!

Anyway - what have you done differently yesterday? Or too much of? It could be a disc pressing more on the nerve. Have you tried a few gentle stretches? They might help me too, thinking about it, I'll go give it a go :H
  • It could be anything. Pinched nerve, if you already had a herniation it could of herniated more??? I am just throwing personal ideas out there hun.
If its painful I would call your drs office as they are the only one that is able to diagnose you properly. Especially if you NEVER EVER had that type of pain before.
Would hate to see you suffer. We cannot see inside our body to see whats going on.
They may want a Xray or something to see.

If you decide to call let us know how you make out.

    Take care and feel better

  • Thank you so much. Will let you know. You know I lifted a small table yesterday just remembered.
