Flexible Fusion

Hello

Has anyone had a flexible fusion? I had an ACDF last Feb. and will be having a lumbar triple level flexible fusion w/ laminectomy in 2 weeks. I was wondering how you felt after surgery? If it has a quicker recovery time than a standard fusion? Maybe less pain? I had awful pain for a couple of weeks following my ACDF but now I am doing pretty good. It was about 80% successful. I still have some shoulder pain but I can live with it.

Thanks for any info. :D
