Well I made it! The surgery itself took aprox 6 hrs.. Surgeon said that the bones were calcified ? It was a two level fusion c56,c67.Doctors orders where colllar for 1 month. My major complaint... I have ben with pain management doc for aprox. one year. My meds are as follows pre surgery. 4-20 mg oxycontin,4-15mg oxycodone, and 4 norcos a day. Well while in hosp I gave them this info and my surgeon also. Get this coming out of surgery they had me on 3or4mg Iv morhine and norco ! I was battling the nurses about my meds ! It was the worst cae I have ever received ! Good news I am home and being taken care of... I do have a question about bone stimulater... Would I be a canidate for this ? If so I will call surgeon tommorow.... Thanks for letting me vent. and sorry for all the mis-spells. Anyway Have a Great day !

  • Glad you crossed over the other side Mike, and you are home from the hospital. Regarding the bone stimulator, it is best to ask your doctor. Also, they should be able to work out your meds too.
