Knee Screw Removal

AnonymousUserAAnonymousUser Posts: 49,731
Hi-

Has anyone ever had screw removal on their knees? I just had my 2 screws out on Thursday. The procedure was short and my doc said I should be up and walking in a few days, but I am in so much pain it's crazy. I also can't walk well- I can only put about 1/3 of my weight on my leg. Has anyone else had anything like this? Am I just over-reacting? I'm calling my doc tomorrow, but I guess I'm just depressed at the lack of mobility and the amount of pain meds I have to keep taking.

If anyone has any advice- I'd appreciate it.
Thanks,
~ Christa
