I was wondering how many of you guys have had your SCS for more than two years and what are your pro/cons?
I'm going to go ahead with a trial installation but,I kind of like to know what to expect long term.
I would think this is something you would have for life, unless something new comes up.

  • I understand where you are coming from with your questions. I have only had mine for 5.5 months, but that is 5.5 EXCELLENT months! I have been able to do more in those months than in several years preceding them. My husband says that the woman he married 10 years ago has returned and after the last several years of krud he has had to go through, that means the world to me. Even were I to lose my SCS tomorrow, I would still know in my heart of hearts, that having a better life is possible. Controlling my pain without narcotics is possible. It would still be worth it!
