  • :''( This is the less complex version.

    IMPRESSION:
    1. Left paracentral disc protrusion at C4-5 level causing moderate central canal stenosis.
    2. Discosteophyte bulge and uncovertebral joint hypertrophy at C5-6 level causing moderate central canal stenosis and severe neuroforaminal stenosis bilaterally.
    3. Congenital canal stenosis. This potentiated the degree of stenosis.

I really dont know how this happend over the last few years. Forward head posture or sports injury?
  • You need a referral to an orthopedic surgeon, a neurosurgeon and a pain management Doctor to help you manage your pain. Is your Dr. giving you any pain meds? Of course I'm not a Doctor and can't read your MRI all we can do is support each other. Perhaps someone will come along and give you more info if they have the same condition. I really don't think your life is over, there are alot of treatments to help you. Take care and keep us posted of your progress. Okay? Charry
DDD of lumbar spine with sciatica to left hip,leg and foot. L4-L5 posterior disc bulge with prominent facets, L5-S1 prominent facets with a posterior osteocartilaginous bar. Mild bilateral foraminal narrowing c-spine c4-c7 RN
  • Everyone tells me that 29 is to young for surgery. The NS told me if he fuse my c5-6 it would move to the next joint/disc. I have family history of arthritis so I hope its not DDD

depending on or giving advice here. It is important to understand that there is no formal medical professional on the member list so advice that is given is based soley on personal experiences.
What is the safest approach is to communicate with your doctor, explaining how you are feeling, etc
