:S 3month post op MRI reads this...
"At L4-5 the disc height is normal but there is moderate circumferential disc bulging. There is also superimposed broad based posterior mid line protrusion which efface the anterior aspect of the thecal sac, worse on the left than the right. There is also left subarticular recess stenosis. There is ligamentum flavum hypertrophy and facet arthritis.
Abnormal MRI lumbar spine. Status post left mini hemi-laminectomy L5-S1. Abnormal fluid collection in the superficial subcutaneous fat posterior in the mid line at this level with MR findings concerning for csf leak. Postoperative seroma and/or developing abscess not entirely excluded.
L4L5 disc dessication bulging with superimposed broad based protrusion with left paracentral eccentricity and left sub particular recess stenosis"
