I'd love to see a new category added called "motivation." So many of the posts I've read have to do with the need for motivation on many, many levels. I think it would be wonderful to have a place to go for encouragement. A place to motivate each other, even though we aren't "depressed." I'm speaking from 6 weeks post op PLIF, decompression. Never thought I'd survive it but now, the hard part is over but the hard part is also just starting.

Where do we all go from here??????? That's the motivation thing I'm talking about. What do you think?

  • Sounds great to me. somedays I need all the help I can get...
  • :) hi! talk to a moderator if you think you have found a need for this category. :-C they will be happy to listen and give it much thought. as for me, i have been a pain patient for almost 45 years and what motivates me to carry on changes from time to time. :? right now i am being motivated by just wanting to do more in my life. to do what i need to to get out of this bed and away from my room for awhile. really looking at it i guess, desire is a motivator for me right now. :T hope you find what motivates you!! Jenny :)
