Hello Fellow Spine Champions,

I have to have this surgery due to Myelopathy at C3/4 C/5/6 it's pretty entertaining to my kids "If I ever got pulled over I would never pass the cognizant test!" and it's hard to breathe. I Have DDD, Arthritis acute, Stenosis. I have had 3 other surgery’s. Endoscopic Disectomy Laminotity Formanty C3/4 C4/5 4 years ago. 2 years had a soft fusion corpectomy C7/8 and removed a huge chunk of arthritic mass at C/8 Facet Joint.

So has anyone had this done? How was it?

Thank you very much!

  • I have had acdf C4-C7 and then a revision done posterior with a corpectomy. If I remember correctly I have 2 plates, 2 rods and 12 screws. I do know my cervical spine was a mess and still is. I now have a bulging disc above my fusion, we, as in me and spine surgeon, are watching it. I like it when they say "watching it", seems that is their catch all phrase.
