Anyone have sharp shooting pains after a microdiscectomy? I am 7 weeks post op L2-3 discectomy and I feel sharp shooting pain around my incision area and I burn all the way up the left side of my back. Still having bad leg pain and hip pain.

  • I dont have sharp pains just alot of tingling in legs, feet and butt. I also have my back tighten up evertime I get up to move and sitting seems to be getting harder. My OS has been no help and just says I just heeling. When did you talk to your DR last?
  • Its been about two weeks and I told him how I feel and the only suggestions he had were injections,he said he didnt know what could be causing the burning up my spine.Duh nerves cause burning
