My NS is telling me that because I am so big and have no neck to speak of

That he will have to crack my chest bone to repair my
Disc protrusion

Has anyone had this done?

What is the average recovery time

  • I'd look in the thoracic area of the boards. many thoracic surgeries are done by breaking or removing parts of/or bones in the chest.

the only surgical procedure that I am aware of that will crack the breastbone is thoracic surgery.
This procedure was outlined for me several times, but both my doctors and I did not want to even give that a try.
